1969 | The Beginning
Ben and Mark Merson opened our first shop on St. Jacques Street, just east of Cavendish. One shop, one goal: honest, reliable automotive service.
1993 | New Location, Bigger Vision
We moved west of Cavendish to our current location. With a more efficient layout, modern equipment, and a growing team, we were ready for the next chapter.
2004–2009 | Next Generation Steps In
Celso joined the business in 2004, followed by Cara in 2009. The second generation began a gradual transition to keep Merson in the family—and moving forward.
2013 | Going Electric
We started servicing electric vehicles early. Today, 15–20% of the cars we service are electric, and the number keeps growing.
2017 | We Built a Warehouse
Our on-site warehouse opened, giving us the capacity to store 10,000 sets of tires. Fast turnaround, better service.
2023 | Community First
We launched a food drive in support of the Welcome Hall Mission, reinforcing our commitment to giving back.
Today | Three Generations Strong
Now run by the second generation of Mersons, we’re proud to be servicing the grandchildren—and even great-grandchildren—of our very first customers.
